a little announcement… and a big giveaway

We are so excited for today, friends. And a little bit nervous. But mostly excited. See, we’ve been working and working on something and we’re excited (and, like I said, a bit nervous) to finally share it with you.
Jordan’s January visit
Funny story- this little endeavor was put in motion when Jordan came to stay for a month and we threw four parties in the span of twenty two days. Between those four and the parties since (and the ones on our calendars), our party que is full to the brim.
Instead of turning kojo into a parties-only space for the next little while (we love the DIY and sewing projects and can’t imagine letting that part go), we decided to give the parties their own ‘venue’ so to speak-
a blog called Shiny Happy Sprinkles.
The space is already full of DIYs and festivities (including the Love You to the Moon and Back shower, a $2 White Fringed Backdrop and more), and we have some serious goodness on the docket as well.
And in celebration of this shiny, happy new adventure, we are giving away some of our very favorite party goodies today. We could sing the praises of every item in the picture (especially the white cake stand and ohmygoodness the Birthday Cake Oreos) and can’t wait to send them to a couple of you.
The Love You to the Moon and Back shower is very sweet!
Thanks Dani! 🙂
Looking at the posts on the new website, how easy does the egg decoration look! My daughter is constantly asking if she can make crafts lately and I’m gonna add that to the list!
Thanks Sonya! I love it that your daughter wants to craft with you! 🙂
I am super excited to see it.
I love the spinning star garland!
I love the white fringe backdrop and the spinning star garland. They are so cute and clever.

My favorite (so far) is the easter bunny peeps cupcakes! Too cute!
Thanks Rach! 🙂 Loving Sewvivor by the way…. they have done such a great job so far! 🙂
I like the world’s best sugar cookie recipe post– I have never found one I really love, so I am anxious to try it.
Desiree- I mentioned in that post that sugar cookies really intimidate me (so many things to get right). My sister, however, is a pro and loves that recipe! You’ll have to try it out. 🙂
Wow, the fringe backdrop is perfect for so many things! Must. Have. One.
Thanks Heather! The backdrop is so easy- you definitely need one. 🙂
The Easter Peeps cupcakes! I might make those this weekend!
Andrea- I love that! Send me a picture if you do!

Caila, you are adorable. Thank you!
The I Love You To The Moon And Back sugar cookies are my fave! I can’t wait to try them. I never thought of adding perimeter frosting to keep the edges clean… brilliant!
And YES- the sugar cookie master and her tricks make me feel like I can maybe actually start making sugar cookies- haha! 🙂
I gotta say I love the Easter post – love those bunny cup cakes!!!
Thanks Libby! The best part is how easy those are to make. 🙂
I am doing a party in a month and I love the “how to make a white fringed backdrop (for $2)”! Just what I needed!
Lara- it’s easy and white and not expensive (aka- perfect!). Send me a picture if you make one!
The sugar cookie recipie is a great post…I’ll have to try it. My cookies are so dry! LOL
Thanks Angie! Sugar cookies are hard for me too (that’s why I needed help from my sister!).
I love your Easter decorations. They are cute.
Thanks Andrea!
Reading your new party blog *JUST* might finally move me past the cake mix from a box/frosting from the store level where my party skills currently sit. Your ideas look fantastic!
I love this so much! Though, I think box cake mixes and frosting are sometimes just the ticket too. 🙂
I love the peep cupcake toppers, so cute
Thanks Amy!
I love the “Love you to the moon and back” baby shower! Excellent for those of us who are trying to not find out baby’s gender.
YES! In fact, when we were putting this together for my brother and sister-in-law, they didn’t know what they were having (hence, the lack of pink or girliness!). 🙂
Those sugar cookies are beautiful! Love the white on white. Will have to try the recipe soon 🙂
Fantastic new site!
Thanks Michelle! And YES to the sugar cookies! 🙂
i LOVE the love you to the moon & back shower! so sweet.
confession…i found this blog last week. i told you i am a stalker! 😉 i found your pin on pinterest for the sugar cookies. i have a serious love affair with sugar cookies so it was only natural that i had to click on that recipe. i started looking around and was all wait a minute….
Hahahaha Dayna, you crack me up. 🙂 I love it that you found it already. 🙂
I have a love affair with sugar cookies too…
I love your blog, and I can’t wait to follow your new one!
Thanks so much Lindsey! 🙂
You guys definitely have a talent for party-throwing! Good luck with the new venture!! 🙂
Thanks so much Kristin! 🙂
Well… I’m torn. I’m going to MAKE the white fringed background. Will be perfect for taking shop pics…
But… those Peeps cupcake toppers? Every year we host a HUGE halloween blowout for kidlet. (He’ll be 13 this year… 8 years now!)
This will take the place of the more childish cupcakes I’ve always made that he told me were embarrassing now…. and still let me decorate them! Peep bats and Cats anyone? hehe
Melle- I love this! 🙂 I love the idea of Peep Halloween toppers (send me a picture if you make them ok?) 🙂
So excited for you all! This is so much fun! I can’t wait to enjoy shiny happy sprinkles! What an adorable name by the way! Yea!!!
Thanks Tiffany… it was so fun to see your name over there. 🙂
I am planning a baby shower in May for twins so “Love You to the Moon” has to be the best ever theme!
Thanks Dianne! It is such an easy shower to put together, too (even better, right?). 🙂
