DIY J Crew inspired corsage shirt

Have you seen these sweet corsage shirts?
J Crew always has a darling variety, but I’ve seen them floating around at Mini Boden and Gap as well.
They feel especially apropos with Spring right around the corner (I should note that the first flower spotting of Spring in Denver was always a huge boost of morale for this warm-weather-loving-girl… and also that I pretty much love skipping winter).
Anyhow, this shirt was a breeze to put together- plain t-shirt (from Crewcuts- I love their plain tees) plus a pile of chiffon and tulle circles and a pretty bead or button.
After fringing the edges of the fabric circles, stack them up, place the bead or button in the center, and hand sew onto the neckline of a plain shirt.
Ten minutes later you have a fabulously Spring-ish corsage shirt!
