guy gift idea- frozen cookie dough

I am going to let y’all in on a little secret- I give Adam homemade frozen cookie dough for *almost* every holiday (birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day- cookie dough for all!).
Since it is the biggest hit ever with Adam, I tucked a ‘tube’ of frozen cookie dough into a birthday gift for one of Adam’s friends (hence- cute packaging).
And since gifts-for-guys are SO HARD (and since frozen cookie dough has worked out great for us), I thought I’d pass along the details.
I think most cookie dough recipe would work probably works, but I always make either cowboy cookies or chocolate chip cookies (both of those recipes work for sure!). To make it as user-friendly as possible for the recipient, just make the cookie dough, scoop into cookie-sized servings, place each one on a cookie sheet lined with baking paper and freeze for individual, cookie-sized servings.
For the packaging, I took a paper towel tube and sliced up one edge. Then I lined the interior with baking paper and filled the lined tube with frozen cookies.
After taping up the tube, adding tissue paper ‘wrapping’ and labeling with C-O-O-K-I-E D-O-U-G-H stickers and directions, these little gems were ready to gift!
True story- as I was typing this post, I thought of three guys that will be receiving homemade frozen cookie dough as part of their Christmas presents this year- haha!
Happy cookie dough guy gifting, friends!
