tart cherry bruschetta

I’m always looking for yummy baby shower or party recipes (or recipes for appetizers to bring to events!). If that’s you too, you must make these Tart Cherry Bruschettas!
Even better, they’d be the perfect addition to a Valentine’s Day menu…
1 baguette
1 container whipped cream cheese (12 oz)
1 Tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 jar tart cherry pie filling (I used this one by Beekman 1802, but it looks like it’s sold out… Also I only used about half the jar, so you probably only need about 15 oz)
Olive oil (to taste)
Coarse himalayan salt (to taste)
DIRECTIONS
Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract and a heaping scoop of the tart cherry mixture into the tub of whipped cream cheese and whip together. Spread this mixture onto a slice of toasted baguette drizzled with olive oil, top with another scoop of tart cherries and sprinkle with Himalayan salt.
