It’s funny, I have been sewing and baking and crafting my little heart out this last week. After declaring this the year-of-no-handmade-gifts, I sure have been in a gift-making-flurry. My theory is that I don’t feel obligated (and have all of the kids’ gift shopping finished), so I have time on my hands to whip up teacher gifts, gifts for my niece, etc. Funny how that works, right?
Just in case you’re still needing to make a handmade gift or two, I put together a list of last minute DIY gifts for you. None should take more than 45 minutes, and most of them you can make with materials you have on hand (or if not, materials you can easily get ahold of).
Eyeglass case, Fabric notebooks
Leather card holders, Comb case, 10 minute cowl, 10 minute pom pom cowl, Vinyl shoe accessories, Chocolate spoons
Rainbow bath towel, DIY potholder, Ear warmers, Leather bow ties, Ribbed beanie, Lavender photo sachets
Doodled onesies, Tension rod theater, Apron, Leather hair tie, Leather pouch, Pom pom gloves
Geode bottle stoppers, No sew hair accessories (big bow and heart), DIY jeweled clutch, Chalkboard tin, Painted throw pillows, Stenciled cocktail glasses
Simple girl’s skirt, Neon painted totes, Napkin/dishtowel totes, Polka dot leather pouch, Zippered pouch, Envelope clutch
Sweet fabric doll, Lemon coconut sugar scrub, Chalkboard covered journals, Salted caramel sauce, Alphabet magnets, Tea wreath
Wool felt baby doll diapers, Lego lunch box, DIY clutch, Homemade birthday cake oreos, Nail polish kit, Flavored salted caramels
Are you still baking/sewing/making gifts?
I feel like I will be making gifts until late Christmas eve/ early Christmas morning.
Debbie, I was up until the wee hours of Christmas morning last year, working away. 🙂 Totally worth it, too! 🙂
The ribbed beanie link goes to the leather bow tie information. Perhaps you could email me the ribbed beanie link-I have lots of folks who wear a heat all the time and they love beanies, If you say I can do it easily , then I believe you !~! Thanks, Happy Holidays.
