After the longest day of travel in the history of the world (ok, it wasn’t actually the longest travel day, it just felt like the longest travel day), the Smooches and I are back in Denver!
As we try to reacclimate to winter and Mountain Standard Time, I thought I’d share some fun news (and a few pictures of the rest of our trip).
You probably know this, but Jordan loves to cook. And she’s really good at it. In fact, I have been trying to convince her to blog her culinary adventures more regularly here on kojo for the last few years. Good news- her pure passion for all things cooking plus her need to share her vast knowledge with whoever will listen (seriously, being in the kitchen with her is like watching a cooking show) has finally triumphed over her seriously spotty internet! Starting this month, Jordan will be adding a dash of delicious to the blog. After eating her cooking for the last month, I can hardly contain my excitement!
Besides cooking (well, watching Jord cook), we really had such a great month in the middle east.
The highlight of the whole trip, for all of us, was family time. Did I already mention that it melts my heart to see the cousins loving each other? Well, it does.
My other trip highlight was the BEACH, of course.
And the gloriously warm weather.
February, which usually drags on and on for me, passed in a blink of cousin time and party throwing and beach-ing and cooking! Stay tuned for more on that last bit…
I CANNOT wait!!! Jordan is my cooking hero! ๐ I can’t wait to see what she “cooks up” here!
And can I just say how entirely, crazily happy I am you got to go visit??? So happy.
Georgia, Jordan’s my cooking hero too- haha! She has been texting me daily with recipe ideas and snapshots- her first post should be up later this week. ๐
And we’re so glad we got to visit as well- it was so fun to see the cousins loving being together! Plus, I miss those Remkes like crazy when I don’t see them for this long. ๐
Looks like it was a wonderful trip! And I’m excited to see Jordan’s cooking posts. I’m always looking for new recipes…so easy to get stuck in a rut!
Nicole, it was such a great time with Jordan and her family. And I get stuck in that recipe rut too- I am so excited for Jord to share new ones on here! ๐
